One Night Stand Theater was formed in 2008 to put on unique, one-time-only shows that have both entertainment and educational components. Productions are designed to appeal to those curious about live theater as well as to confirmed theater lovers.

One Night Stand produces six shows each year using a variety of writing, acting, directing and technical talent.

   
Jim O'Leary

James O’Leary Founding Member, Artistic Director, Production Director
James has worked as a stage director and actor with Denver-area theater companies like the E-Project, Theatre Company of Lafayette, Industrial Arts Theatre, the Evergreen Players, Red Rocks Community College Theatre, Conifer StageDoor Theatre, and the Evergreen Children's Chorale. He has directed staged readings of new plays for the Colorado Theatre Guild, Chameleon Stage, and the Playwrights Showcase of the Western Region. He has served as an adjudicator for high school and college productions for the Rocky Mountain Theatre Association (RMTA) and as a judge for the RMTA's playwrighting and musical theater competitions.

Cindy Hall Cindy Hall Founding Member, Production Director
In Chicago, Cindy studied improv at the Players Workshop of Second City. She appeared in The Jellyfish with the Emerging Artists Project, Orpheus Descending with Zebra Crossing Theater, and The Mighty Fergus with the Hungry Villains, and performed with the improv troup Friends of Fergus. Since coming to Denver a few years ago, Cindy has performed at the Bovine Metropolis, the Dangerous Theatre and One Night Stand.

  Cody Sanford Sound Design, Lighting & Sound Technician
Cody has his AAS from Red Rocks Community College and has been working in the professional and educational theater community since 2003. Credits include lighting and sound designer on Red Rocks' original production of Scars, the part of Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and Zach in Rainy Day People. He has been involved with One Night Stand since its inception.

Lorraine Scott Lorraine Scott Founding Member, Production Director
Lorraine Scott has been involved in many areas of theatre for over 30 years. She has been teaching, administrating, directing, and performing in the Denver area for the past 15 years. Her directing experience includes Crimes of the Heart, Feast of the Flying Cow, Aunt Maggity’s House of Horror, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and The King’s New Clothes. She was the Director/Actor Coordinator for the Playwrights Showcase of the Western Region 2009 conference. Lorraine teaches theatre with the Metropolitan State College of Denver and is the Colorado Representative to the Rocky Mountain Theatre Association.
