Call for “Witches Brew” Plays, Stories and Poems
One Night Stand Theater is looking for short plays, stories and poems featuring the female side of horror, fantasy and the supernatural for our October 5 production, a one-night-only evening of staged readings called “Witches Brew.” The pieces can be comedies or dramas featuring female characters or themes. (That includes witches, of course, but could be anything fantastic about women.)
The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 19; limit 3 plays or stories per writer; send them to Tickets@OneNightStandTheater.org. If we feature your play, story or poem in the show, we offer a small honorarium and two comp tickets for the performance (at Vintage Theatre in Aurora, Colorado). Plays can be new or old; there are no restrictions on whether the pieces have been previously produced.
